The war in Syria will use Crypto to give Power an Anarchist State
The crypto is looking like a way to overcome the economic sanctions in the Northern Syria at a region home of almost 4 million people. The Democratic Federation of Northern Syria which is also known as the Rojava has spent their last six years in the war for this territory and also the country goes to its economic sanctions from several sites such as Syria, Iran, Iraq, and Turkey. In the midst of the uncertainty, those backing the state are putting a new and broad emphasis on the monetary independence.
Alongside the system of self-governing commutes, the Rojava also plans to implement the new technologies and academies that particularly give emphasis on the cryptocurrencies and cryptography. An early bitcoin developer Amir Taaki also assists the thing who fought in the Rojava revolution.
In addition to all this, Taaki told to CoinDesk that, “Rojava is a revolutionary project that wants to build a new society which is based on the anarchist principles and that means law, defense, society, and culture.”
After that, Serdem also gives his views that “You need technology to spend less water, you need technology to have an equal relation with the earth, you need technology to use networks, like the bitcoin. We see blockchain as a practical network in a society that people use.” Serdem continues his statement by adding up that, “We have to think deeply about the future of the new system, and how the people can arrange and manage the resources democratically without any form of centralization.”
With such tools, Rojava wants to set an example doe the democratic society in the Middle East of the world. Serdem gives emphasis on that changes that can be achieved not only by violent measures but also by demonstrating to the world and that another system is possible to operate in tandem with autonomy.
Additionally, the project also looks like the revolutionary hackers that can attract allies throughout the world and it can help the project to realize itself. At this point, Serdem says that “We know that there are many people with the expertise and with the philosophy. They know very well the current system that does not work. Globally, it doesn’t work.”
According to Serdem, Rojava will represent the last and final opportunity for which they can give such revolution in the best possible way and to overthrow the system of capitalist exploitation and further a new form of consumer slavery.
In addition to this, Serdem told CoinDesk that, “Rojava, this is for me, this is the last opportunity for humans and We need to create this as an example. Rojava can be out the first step of how we can be the captain of our planet which is occupied by the old systems.”
In part, the efforts of Taaki in Europe to attract the idealist young programme interested in putting ideas of decentralized and bring the change into the practice which is related to this.
